Alaskan Fish and Chips

(Serves 4-6)

For this recipe, you will need:

· 2 - 2 ½ lb. halibut fillets
· 1 cup of flour
· ½ tsp. paprika
· ¼ tsp. salt
· one eighth tsp. pepper
· ¾ cup beer
· Oil for deep frying
· Lemon wedges

1) Cut fillets in to 2 inch squares.

2) Make a batter by mixing dry ingredients and slowly stirring in beer. Beat until smooth.

3) Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F.

4) Dip each piece of fish into batter.

5) Drain.

6) Deep fry a few pieces at a time until golden brown.

7) Drain.

8) Serve with salt and lemon wedges.
