Situated in beautiful (albeit touristy) Ghiradelli Square at Fishermans Wharf, this annex to the popular seafood restaurant is really a treat for those who want the thrill of a San Francisco dining experience at a fraction of the cost of a meal at the restaurant. And theres even a gorgeous view of the Bay from several of the tables at the café. Though the menu at the café is limited, they do manage to have some nice items from the restaurant menu, including my personal favorite, Petrale Sole.
Actually, it was my dad who introduced me to this dish at the Beverly Hills sister of McCormick & Kulettos, McCormick & Schmick. The reason that this selection is included at the end of my list of places is because of the cost. Relative to everything else on the list, the lounge might be considered more on the moderate side of inexpensive. Nevertheless, it is such a nice treat, that I had to include it in my list.
