In my opinion, Zachary’s is the best pizza I have ever had…And, believe me, I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life. There is something truly unique about the way their pizza is prepared. It is unlike anything you are likely to have experienced before. My personal recommendation is the spinach and mushroom (a.k.a. "THE PRIDE AND JOY"). One bite, and I personally guarantee that you will start to cry… Zachary’s is almost a spiritual experience.. Well worth the drive across the Bay Bridge from San Francisco and the inevitably long wait to get in (especially on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night).
